We will keep our demand through a strong-memorandum demanding the hike of Non-NET Fellowship with immediate effect.

We will organise a nation-wide strike at Central Universities demanding the hike of the fellowship. We strongly condemn the attitude of the government and UGC which feel that the work and labour of the Research Scholars are of worth Rs. Five Thousand/Eighth Thousand month.

We strongly condemn the step-motherly attitude is shown towards the thousand numbers of Non-NET fellowship holders.

We demand that catchphrase “UGC Non-NET” fellowship replaced with the phrase “MHRD-Research Scholars Fellowship”. Because it is defamatory for many Research Scholars who have already qualified UGC/CSIR NET but are getting this fellowship due certain government made/constitutional provisions/restrictions).
